This is the first edition of the WWF-Sea Swim in the North Sea at Scheveningen has raised just under 150,000 euros for nature conservation. Around 600 swimmers joined the cause and swam 500 meters or 1 kilometer.

The proceeds from the sponsorships and donations will go to projects of the World Wildlife Fund to combat the plastic soup in Indonesia, around the coral triangle area.
